I have chosen this song because not only it fits the indie/rock genre I was going for, it's sound is very visual and easily goes along with my new idea of a girl pretending to play the parts of each band member in her back garden shed.
It goes along with my new idea because the song itself is very upbeat and instrumental which is important in this setting. As well as this, the lyrics of the song match the theme of my video idea; some of the lyrics read "don't you wanna see inside my shell?" This is saying that there's more to a person than what you can physically see; if you look a little closer then you'll be able to see a person's true colours, and this is what my video is about. It's about not caring for other people's opinions and being yourself with every aspect of your life, from what you wear to the music you listen to and so on.
I messaged the band themselves and they said that I can use this song for my video.
